We mobilise the corporate sector to prevent the spread of infectious diseases, in particular HIV/Aids, Tuberculosis and Malaria, by using the workplace as a springboard to reach the local community.

Be Health Association has a humanitarian mission with an entrepreneurial approach. Starting with the workplace, BE spreads health from member companies out into the community. To put this into context, a workplace employing 350 staff has access to around 12’000 people in its local community.

"Work is where people share knowledge and information, so where better to educate people about infectious diseases and ways to prevent them?"

That’s particularly important in countries where HIV/Aids, Tuberculosis, and Malaria are a high burden. To do this, we collaborate with global and local healthcare experts from the public and private sectors. BE’s name stands for the verb ‘to be’ – representing life and health as the basis for people to ‘be’.
